Update:

More links here on the side now. I have a plan to help even more, but I have to wait and see if Google accepts me on AdSense.
It's official:
A firefighter down by the levee just confirmed that there is a 200 foot breach. All we can do now is pray.
It looks like I spoke too soon...
It has not been confirmed yet but there have been reports that the levee holding back Lake Ponchatrain has been breached in a two block strech. I literally just heard on CNN that 80% of New Orleans is under water and one major bridge (I forgot it's name) was just wiped out. This, everyone, is the doomsday scenario. Earlier today everyone thought we had dodged a bullet, while that was technially true another bullet was just shot, and this one is destroying New Orleans as I type. This blog will stay up as long as the cleanup takes, which I do realize, could be years. But in reality New Orleans will never be normal again. This changes everything forever. Once again, the levee holding back Lake Ponchatrain has been breached. I will do another post once I learn more. God help those people... please send as much as you can to Red Cross and Salvation Army, any amount helps.

Hardest hit, Biloxi, MS; Mobile, AL and Gulfport, LA. New Orleans was spared, sort of. Still not much comfort, and the body count hasn't even started, pray for everyone in the southeast.

Just to let everyone know, I am not expecting or even wanting anyone to send me money. I only will link to credible organizations because the last thing we need is these victims getting screwed out of help by some greedy bastard. If you feel uneasy about any site I have linked to please let me know.
Welcome all to my new blog. Unlike my previous two blogs this one is non-partisan. As I am typing this Katrina has not even "offically" hit land yet but it will very soon. I am looking for all groups or indivduals that will be able to contribute to the relief effort. Money is obviously #1, but goods and services are a close #2 and #3. I don't care if your liberal, conservative, communist, socialist, nazi (well, I might care for that one), etc. Our friends in New Orleans and all throughout the Southeast will feel the force of Katrina and when our friends get knocked down we pick them back up people. If you want to become part of the effort just email me at mrsports45@hotmail.com and tell me what you can contribute to this blog effort.
